The Meads Primary School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is four to 11. It was opened in 1962. The school has superb accommodation facilities with a purpose-built medical room, a small teaching room, a new staffroom and a main entrance. The school benefits from having a large hall situated next to the school kitchen. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. Educational visits are also arranged to enhance the curriculum. The school aims to provide a happy, caring environment in which children feel comfortable and secure enough to be able to learn, and a stimulating environment where they want to learn.
